With a serial number of 4495, Bart Reiter would only produce another 494 banjos after this one, before ending his storied banjo-building career that spanned nearly 40 years. Built by hand in 2017 in his workshop in East Lansing, MI (USA), this fine instrument features a Bacon-style tone ring as well as a Whyte Laydie, a scooped fretboard, and spikes installed at the 7th and 9th fret.
